Islam is a religion deeply rooted in understanding the nature and attributes of Allah. Central to this understanding are the 99 Names of Allah, also known as the “Asma Ul Husna” (the Beautiful Names), which hold great spiritual and religious significance.
 
Allah has revealed His names repeatedly in the Holy Quran primarily for us to understand who He is. Learning and memorizing the names of Allah will help us to identify the correct way to believe in Him.
 
Our beloved Prophet (SAW) said the following about the Asmaul Husna: “Allah has 99 names. Whoever memorizes and embraces (ihsa) these qualities will enter heaven” (Bukhari).
 
Allah says in the Quran:
'And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them' (Quran 7:180)
